Shipping policy

We ship our dog beds worldwide! Shipping rates depend on the weight and qty of the items purchased and will be calculated at checkout. Now shipping Australia-wide. Items are shipped via courier and are usually dispatched from our Auckland warehouse within 24 hours. Tracking will be sent via email once your order is packed and scanned to be dispatched.

New Zealand shipping, from the date you place your order, you can expect to receive your bed within 1-3 days if there are no courier delays (quite often it is overnight if north island and non-rural)

Rural NZ shipping can take an additional 2-5 business days compared to standard delivery. 

International Shipping: Note no treats can be sent internationally. This will make your cart not allow you to place a order. Due to countries biosecurity.

Australian shipping, items can take 7-15 business days.

  • Australia Standard Postal System Target is 5-10 working days.
  • Australia International Courier NZ Post Target is 2-6 working days.
  • Both of these options are available at the checkout - Australia Shipping is normally sent via NZ Post and Aus Post partners. 
  • Please Note the above timeframes are simply a guideline on how long it normally takes, Australia has strict customs controls and this can slow down the shipping times. We have no control over this & delays it may cause.

DHL can be used at the buyer’s expense if requested via email info@lifeofriley.co.nz. Alternatively, you can organise your own shipping too.

USA and the rest of the world, items can take 10-15 business days (custom delays are out of our control and can extend shipping times depending on the country)

If there are any unforeseen delays in your shipment we will contact you as soon as possible. While shipping delays are the last thing any wants to face, in rare instances they’re unavoidable if there are issues with the couriers, high demand, or logistical hiccups etc we will do our best to keep you updated. Please note that once your parcel has been collected by our chosen courier we are no longer responsible for it and courier companies will need to be contacted directly if there are issues, example: if the parcel failed delivery or is missing.

International Orders – Customs & Biosecurity Policy

Please note that all international orders may be subject to customs inspections and/or biosecurity checks upon arrival in the destination country. These processes are unpredictable and can occur at random, depending on the regulations of each country.

Any charges, fees, or costs incurred as a result of these inspections—including duties, taxes, or disposal fees—are the responsibility of the buyer. Unfortunately, we have no control over these procedures or the associated costs, as they vary between countries.

We recommend contacting your local customs or border security authority prior to placing your order for more information on any potential fees or restrictions that may apply in your region.

 RETURNS/Change of mind: 

Although we hope you love all your items from Life of Riley, we have a returns policy if you are not 100% happy with your purchase. We will provide a full refund, size exchange or credit note for all full-price items that adhere to the below conditions.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it within 30 days, undamaged and unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. This will need to be returned at your own cost and shipping costs are non-refundable. 

DAMAGED/FAULTY ITEMS: If you believe an item is faulty or damaged by the manufactures fault the item will need to be returned to be inspected - therefore determining if eligible for a replacement or refund. If the item has been tampered with i.e. Removing the wool from the white inner lining/mattress has been removed this will void any warranty as all customers are advised not to take out the wool and a new lining and/or wool insert can be purchased at the customer's own expense. (See return shipping details below)

To start a return, you can contact us at info@lifeofriley.co.nz If your return is accepted we will send instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted. This will need to be returned at your own cost and shipping costs are non-refundable.
